I'm back from my vacation and ready to blog! I had no idea I'd have so much time to read on my road trip, but apparently you can read a lot of books when you spend five to seven hours in a car a day. Yes, I can read in a moving vechile. How? No idea. Just do. I read six books over six days and still had time to watch the changing of guard in Ottawa, tour Quebec City, go whale watching, visit a canyon, hit the waterpark and hike a mountain.
So I managed to read Prince Charming and The Secret by Julie Garwood. Both great reads!! I also read Live Ammo by Joanna Wayne and Cowboy in the Crossfire by Robin Perini, my Harlequin Intrigues and I'm irriated because I accidently creased the cover of one of them. Creased covers or cracked spines really bug me. So I'm not happy. But, they were both good reads and the intrigues made them a nice change from your regular romance. I also squeezed in Glimmerglass by Jenna Black, a YA read, and Surrender to the Roman by M.K Chester. And yes, some of these reads were devastating.
So, over the next couple of days I hope to reivew some of those books while I switch genres and begin some serious YA reading. My ARC arrived and looks fanastic so I'm dying to delve into all the YA books on my reading list.
I'm a thirty something girl who loves to read, write and dream. Because I'm so addicted to the written word in all its forms, I created this blog to share the books that devastate me with you.
